Frequently Asked Questions
We'll tell you. If something falls outside what Bareviz does well, you'll hear that up front, and where possible, a pointer toward someone better suited. A bad fit helps nobody.
Yes. We can discuss prints, merch, and/or packaging!
Yes. You receive the original physical drawing along with a high-resolution scan. Shipping is charged at cost, sent within the US, and typically arrives in up to 15 days.
You receive the usage rights agreed in your quote. Commercial use is scoped and priced separately, so tell us how you plan to use the work up front. Bareviz retains the right to show finished work as portfolio pieces. Though if your project is confidential, just say so and it stays private.
Whatever suits the end use, high-resolution print-ready files, web-optimised versions, or specific formats you request. Editable source files (layered artwork, .blend scenes, project files) aren't included by default but can be purchased separately if you need them.
Most projects include two rounds of revisions, with the exact number confirmed in your quote; extra rounds can be added if you need them. The checkpoints exist so problems get caught early. On portraits, for example, you approve the sketch stage before any real graphite goes down. It's rare to reach the end and be surprised.
Everything runs by email, and you'll see progress at agreed checkpoints rather than waiting in the dark until the end. Bareviz is based in Florida (US Eastern time) and works with clients anywhere. Replies typically come within one to two business days.
Portraits typically run 1–3 weeks, branding and design 3–5 weeks, and websites 4–10 weeks, depending on scope. You'll get a realistic timeline with your quote. Working to a tight deadline? Ask! Rush work is often possible depending on the current schedule.
The deposit secures your place in the schedule and covers work already underway, so it isn't refundable once a project has started. If you cancel partway through, you pay only for the work completed to that point and you keep whatever's been finished.
Typically 50% to secure your slot, with the balance due on delivery. Larger projects can be split across milestones. Payment is by Zelle, with exact terms set out in your quote.
Fixed for the work we've agreed. If the scope changes along the way, we'll re-quote that part before doing it. Nothing gets added to your bill without your say-so.
Starting prices are listed with each service above, and every project gets its own fixed quote before work begins. Cost is driven by complexity, size, timeline, and how you plan to use the work: a personal portrait and a commercial campaign piece aren't priced the same way.
Usually, yes. Send references or a sketch and we'll tell you honestly whether it's a good fit before you commit.
Yes. A single portrait or one illustration is just as welcome as a full brand build.
For portraits: clear, well-lit photos. The sharper the photo, the better the drawing. For design and web: any existing brand files, plus examples of work you like (and work you don't). For everything else: a description of the idea and any references. If you're not sure what to send, just ask, we'll tell you.
Send a short brief through the contact page: your idea, any references you like, your timeline, and a rough budget. You'll get an approach and a fixed quote back. If you'd rather talk it through first, a free intro call is available at no cost and no obligation.
Ask directly — no obligation, no sales pitch.
